Dornoch MFC is primarily a Fixed Wing aircraft club though with prior notice Helicopter flying in restricted areas can be accommodated. Kites and Drones (Multi-rotor) are not permitted due to it being an Operational Airfield.

The club's main flying sessions are at the Dornoch Airfield on Saturday mornings at 10:00 and during the summer months also at 18:00 on Wednesdays. All weather dependent.

However members also arrange amongst themselves separate flying sessions during the week to maximise the weather conditions.

Social get togethers are also arranged where members meet at a local cafe.
